| About GreatSchools.net |
GreatSchools.net is a nonprofit online guide to K-12 schools that provides parents with the information they need to guide their children's education. It's the first Web site to bring an "Amazon.com" level of consumer friendliness to parents who are looking for school information. The purpose of GreatSchools.net is to help parents understand how their children's schools are performing, choose the right schools for their children, support their children's learning and advocate for education excellence. Already the leading school information Web site for California, Arizona, Texas and Florida parents, GreatSchools.net aims to be the nation's most widely-known and trusted school information resource. GreatSchools.net has a two-tiered product. The National School Guide provides basic information about virtually every K-12 school in the country. State School Guides include in-depth school profiles, school search and sort tools, custom email newsletters and state-specific advice about navigating the public school system. State School Guides are currently available in California, Arizona, Texas and Florida with plans to expand to other new states in 2002. |
